The Halton Hills Quilters' Guild was established in 1991 with only 8 members and now has a membership of approximately 50 people. Our members include quilters from beginner level up to experienced and expert level quilters.

Zoom meetings only for Sept 2021 to June 2022
We meet on the 4th Monday of the month
(excluding July, Aug & Dec)
(unless holiday then the 5th Monday) at:
Hillcrest United Church
8958 Trafalgar Road
Near Hornby, Ontario, L0P 1E0
We open our library at 6:30pm and the meeting begins at 7:00pm
Our programme and workshop coordinators have, over the years, brought many exciting and innovative guests to stimulate our members with their trunk shows and workshops.
"Show and Share" is a regular part of each meeting. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned quilter, please bring along things you are working on or have completed. We are all lifelong learners and we enjoy seeing the work of others. This can be a time to celebrate your completed works, share a chuckle over an “oops”, or ask advice on how to proceed with an on-going project.
Other Guild activities may include:
• Round Robin
• Block of the Month
• Row Quilts
• Postcard Exchange
• 50-50 Draw
• President’s Challenge
In addition to the guild organized activities, members often initiate other activities with like-minded members, including:
• Sew and Chat groups
• Outings to Quilt Shows
• Shopping Trips
Some of our members participate in Project Linus Canada for the Kitchener - Waterloo chapter. This activity is outside of the Guild.
